Start of T8 Structure Works in Thessaloniki Flyover
The Thessaloniki Flyover project continues to move forward with the commencement of construction works on the T8 structure, one of the most technically demanding sections of this major infrastructure development in Greece.
The Flyover is a landmark project designed to upgrade and modernize the eastern ring road of Thessaloniki, significantly improving traffic flow, safety, and overall urban mobility. By introducing a high-capacity elevated corridor and enhancing existing infrastructure, the project will play a key role in addressing long-standing congestion challenges in the city.
Within this context, the T8 structure represents a critical component due to its complexity and its importance in the overall traffic distribution. This section has been designed as a multi-level, cut-and-cover solution, requiring advanced engineering approaches to meet both structural and operational requirements.
