PROJECT LESOTHO

For the Polihali Diversion Tunnels in Lesotho, a critical component of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, we delivered an advanced engineering solution for high performance river diversion. Working with the SCLC Joint Venture, we deployed custom engineered full round steel formwork travelers designed for single phase concreting of the entire 360 degree cross section. This innovative approach eliminated construction joints to ensure a superior hydraulic profile and maximum structural integrity in a challenging high altitude environment. By combining robust hydraulic carriages with high durability steel panels, we accelerated construction cycles and improved site safety, supporting the successful delivery of one of Africa's most ambitious cross border water infrastructure developments.
