PROJECT MARTYRS STATION

For the landmark Place des Martyrs metro station in Algiers, we delivered a record breaking engineering solution beneath the city's historic district. To manage the station's massive dimensions and two distinct cross sections up to 23 meters wide, we designed a customized VARIOKIT formwork carriage that utilized the same core components for both variants. This highly adaptable hydraulic system enabled a rapid construction pace of 15 meters per week, ensuring the project met its ambitious schedule while significantly reducing costs. By combining international engineering expertise with versatile rental solutions, we provided GMAC with a safe and cost effective workflow for one of the most complex underground structures in the region.
