PROJECT KLOKOVA

For the Klokova tunnel project on the Ionia Odos Highway in Greece, we provided a high performance engineering solution for two parallel tunnels spanning 2.85 kilometers. Working with TERNA S.A., we deployed specialized steel formwork systems capable of adapting hydraulically to both the main tunnel and parking area sections. By utilizing the TET 04 carriage and innovative hydraulic panels, the transition between different geometries was achieved with a push of a lever, eliminating the need for costly equipment changes. This highly automated pouring machine approach allowed our client to reach impressive benchmarks of 1.5 pours per day and finish the tunnel construction ahead of schedule with maximum safety and precision.
